Update November 10, 2017~~ Hi again all!! Its been a long year and eight months(!!) since I posted an update! Steve found out last May that he had malignant melanoma, surgery and a serious setback to his MS made this past spring/summer and early fall quite the challenge! But all appears to be well and he is back in the saddle again, painting, riding his bike and enjoying life! I will try to update this page as I can but the page that is always up to date is Steve's facebook page https://www.facebook.com/slwatercolors/ Thanks for all your support! Irene And Steve
Born February 1952, Steve Lambert was an artist from birth. He has always been very talented in the art and music world. In 1989 a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis rocked his world to say the least. He could no longer play the piano or the keyboards, and painting became too stressful with a loss of motor control in his hands. Over time, he has found ways to compensate for the loss of his ability to paint, draw and play instruments. The 1972 VW Westfalia project now gone had been one BIG project and rebuilding bicycles and donating them to local charities has been another.
In February of 2006 he once again picked up a paintbrush. Having moved to Southeastern Coastal North Carolina in 2004 with his wife Irene, Steve began painting watercolors. In the following pages you will see the beautiful surroundings and scenes around areas of Onslow County and beyond. Over time Steve has expanded his talent and now does acrylic and mixed media painting as well.
All of the original painting are available for purchase unless otherwise noted-Please note if the peice is framed or not. (what frame you see is what you get). You can always email me as well at ilambert(at)charter(dot)net and let us know what you are interested in.
