I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, and these days, I spend my time chasing creativity, two kids, and four dogs. Not always in that order. I earned my degree in Architecture and Design, which gave me a strong foundation in structure and aesthetics, but it was watercolor that truly captured my heart.

Like many artist, I found my way back to painting during the quiet days of the pandemic. What started as a creative and therapeutic escape quickly became my full-blown passion. I fell in love with the fluidity and unpredictability of watercolor; How it moves, blends, and creates moments of surprise on the page.

While watercolor is my go to medium, I also love to experiment. I often an ink and wash technique, and sometimes I'll finish off a piece with a touch of pastel pencil to add just the right touch of color and texture. Every piece I create is a little exploration; a blend of spontaneity, technique, and joy.
